Magical book Rig

The book was created in Maya and the details were sculpted in ZBrush. Textures were done in Substance Painter. 

Rig and animation are done in Maya.

*The only model included with this project is the book and pages, not the shoe, the ball, the cherry tree blossom and the jet engine!

3D Model and rig of a fantasy/magical pop-up/two page flip book.

The rig:

• you can open/rotate front and back book cover;

• you can open and close the front buckle along with the flap attached to the buckle/clutch;

• you can attach models to the follicles for a pop-up book look (there are 3 follicles on the first set of pages). The pages have UV maps, so you can paint more follicles on the second set of pages, if you wish.

• you can flip, rotate, bend, twist top/bottom of the rigged pages(leaves);

  *Please, keep in mind that ‘leaves’ are not ‘pages’. Leaf is a sheet of paper which has 2 pages on each side. You can flip only 2 pages leaves. And you have 5 pages you can apply textures to. There is additional hidden page(wrap deformed to one of the leaves) for generating grass in xgen(if needed);
