“I wanted to use the time during the summer holidays to study and improve my animation skills, so I purchased Keith Osborn's book :"Cartoon Character Animation with Maya". The book provided Mr Buttons with his Rig and a Rigged swoosh effect model. There was a video with the blind date animation which I have used, as a reference, to animate my Mr Buttons. I found the book really helpful and I have learnt how to animate multiple limps and how to use a swoosh effect. The book downloads gives you some video tutorials, too which I found very useful!🤩. I have created, textured, rigged and animated the rest of the models in the scene. The ocean is one of the ready FX examples in Maya and the palm trees are Maya Paint Effect. I hope you like this short cartoon animation as much as I enjoyed creating it😍”
